Photos of Goo Hara in a “club outfit” in the new drama City Hunter are garnering a lot of attention. Hara plays the part of the President’s youngest daughter, and in this particular scene, visits a club with one of her friends in a fit of rebelliousness. It’s being reported that despite having to dance on 12cm platform heels for almost 2 hours straight, Hara was able to pull through her exhaustion and finish the shoot with no problems. A crew member stated, “Goo Hara’s personality is so bright and her cooperation is so good that she’s known as the cutie on set. She gets praise from not only her senior actors, but from the crew members as well because of her willingness to learn and work hard.”
According to broadcast representatives of KBS, singer Tony An recently completed his final episode as MC on “100 Points out of 100“.
Tony An was chosen as a fixed cast member back in November, and six months into his role, he’s decided to depart from the program due to conflicting schedules.
His representative stated, “The program underwent a formatting change, and with SBS’s ‘Fun Quiz Club‘ recordings being moved to Wednesdays, it overlaps with ‘100 Points out of 100′. Because it’s impossible to do both, he will unfortunately be leaving the program.”
He continued, “Tony An has a lot of affections for the program especially since they both started off together. He’s extremely upset over the decision, but will in turn bring that focus back to his solo promotions as a singer.”
On April 23rd, B2ST’s Kikwang and SECRET’s Hyosung guested on KBS’s “100 Points out of 100” and parodied the famous sit-up scene from the hit drama series, “Secret Garden“.
Because Kikwang had always named Hyosung as his ideal woman, cast members were more than happy to pair the two together. Although Hyosung agreed to the parody, she still expressed her shyness by keeping a fair of amount of distance from Kikwang once the scene began rolling.
MC Park Kyung Lim, frustrated by the slow development of pace, abruptly cut them off and asked Hyosung to inch in closer. Despite her lead, the couple failed to close the gap any further, leading MC Kim Shin Young to jump in and add, “If you’re that far apart, how are you going to hear his heart beat?”
On the April 14th “Super Concert Wonderful Jeju” special for SBS’s “Inkigayo“, Cube labelmatesB2ST and 4minute teamed up for a collaboration music video promoting Jeju Island.
With the beautiful natural scenery of the island as their backdrop, the two groups sang an adorable song for the island to both raise awareness and promote tourism towards the island.
Members also greeted fans of different countries like Japan and France, before finally concluding with “Welcome to Korea!” Check it out below!
On April 24th, SBS’s Inkigayo held a live broadcast special of the “Super Concert Wonderful Jeju” at the Hanra Gymnasium with the show’s four MCs.
Throughout the show, viewers hilariously pointed out the subtle height difference between f(x)’s ‘giant baby’, Sulli, and her two male co-MCs, Jo Kwon and Kikwang.
Viewers are now wondering what Sulli’s real height is, especially since Kikwang previously admitted his height to be 170 cm, while Jo Kwon’s profile states that he is 175 cm.
Although she was wearing kill heels for the show, viewers nevertheless showed much interest in her tall height.
SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, but this week, they’ve recorded a special episode on Jeju Island with fun and amazing performances from the top K-pop artists!
Super Concert Wonderful Jeju was part of the Visit Korea Committee’s “Visit Korea Year 2010-2012” promotional activities and was held at the Hanra Gymnasium. More than 300 audience members from not only Korea, but Japan, China, and other Asian countries attended plus foreign reporters.
The marketing director of the Visit Korea Committee stated, “By using the international power of and influence of K-Pop, we have decided to open this event to encourage and promote tourism in Jeju Island. In the future, we will be coming up with a variety of different events and ideas through the use of Hallyu so that we can appeal to an international audience.”
The concert is also in support of Jeju Island’s bid to be designated as one of the seven new natural wonders of the world. The campaign is currently in its third and final phase in which the wonders will be chosen by an estimated 1 billion voters worldwide among 28 official finalists. The final winners of the ‘New 7 Wonders of Nature’ will be announced on November 11th, 2011.
B2ST and 4minute did the ‘Greeting Song‘ video to promote Jeju Island.

On the April 23rd episode of MBC’s “We Got Married“, 2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoriaexpressed their disappointment with their article being cut off in a magazine they were scheduled to have.
The couple was previously given a mission to act as a one-day journalist and come up with an article introducing the tastes of Korea for an internationally circulated vacation magazine.
Through the help of friends, the two diligently completed the task and earned praise of professionalism for their completed piece.
Unfortunately, while they were originally promised two full pages, only one page was printed in the magazine. To add salt to the wound, not one line from their submitted article was used at all.
Nichkhun commented, “It’s a professional magazine so I didn’t have much expectations. I guess I kind of expected it, but I did hope for our article to be in it.”
Victoria added, “I expected too much so my disappointment is just as great. I feel like someone dumped cold water on me.”
