Is it the JYP Entertainment curse?
CHI CHI’s Su-i is the latest idol singer revealed to have auditioned for (and been rejected from) JYP Entertainment. But she’s in no bad company, as she joins the ranks of a veritable truckload of popular stars (IU, KARA’s Goo Hara, MBLAQ’s Thunder/Chundeong, SISTAR’s Hyorin) who had auditioned for the label, but were rejected and then later joined another agency.
J.Y. Park, who acted alongside IU in “Dream High“, even expressed regret over her audition, saying he’d fire whoever dropped her.
