MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and 2AM’s Jinwoon to compete in rowing competition with “Infinity Challenge” cast

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and 2AM’s Jinwoon will soon be making guest appearances on MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” for their special ‘rowing competition’ project.
All eight cast members of “Infinity Challenge” and a coxswain (person in charge of boat navigation) are set to compete in the upcoming competition. Despite the large number, they were still in need of two extra members to fill up their team line-up.
During last week’s broadcast, the cast members personally called several of their close celebrity friends and idol group members to make arrangements on whether they could make time to participate in the competition.
The final round of contestants came together for an urgent meet, where they had to perform 1000m on a rowing machine to test which of the candidates received the best time. In the end, it was Lee Joon and Jinwoon who were able to take the spot of guest members.
This rowing event will mark the first of this year’s special projects for “Infinity Challenge”. The team will be aiming to take part in the competition in the coming summer season.

Twitter is a balance of bonding and promotions for idol singers

As you know, many idol singers are deeply into social networking these days.
Despite their packed schedules, these idols find the time to update their fans on how they’re doing and keep in contact with them. In addition, the singers use their Twitter accounts to reveal news about themselves or promote new songs, movies, or dramas.
For example, recently 2AM’s Jo Kwon, 2PM’s Taecyeon, and Miss A’s Suzy attended a VIP screening of the movie “The World’s Most Beautiful Farewell”. After watching the movie, they posted their thoughts and feelings of the movie.
Jo Kwon stated, “I went on an invitation from Kim Kab Soo teacher. It was a really sad but beautiful movie. There is still a part of my heart that’s still crying.” Taecyeon wrote, “I came back after I cried my heart out. I really recommend this movie.”
Suzy helped advertise this movie by writing on her Twitter, “I was too busy wiping my tears. I felt a lot of things after watching this movie.”
About this, a representative of the movie, “The World’s Most Beautiful Farewell” revealed, “By leaving comments about our movie on their Twitter, the comments created a ripple effect and generated interest, it’s a bit of indirect advertising for our movie.”
Another example is B2ST leaving comments on their Twitter about their upcoming events. They would write, “I want to see our B2uty soon!” “Come prepared to play with us!”. This helps them bond better with their fans as fans as they are able to follow and read what their idols are saying.
It seems as though these tidbits of information that idol singers reveal help them connect better with the fans.
