MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and 2AM’s Jinwoon to compete in rowing competition with “Infinity Challenge” cast

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and 2AM’s Jinwoon will soon be making guest appearances on MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” for their special ‘rowing competition’ project.
All eight cast members of “Infinity Challenge” and a coxswain (person in charge of boat navigation) are set to compete in the upcoming competition. Despite the large number, they were still in need of two extra members to fill up their team line-up.
During last week’s broadcast, the cast members personally called several of their close celebrity friends and idol group members to make arrangements on whether they could make time to participate in the competition.
The final round of contestants came together for an urgent meet, where they had to perform 1000m on a rowing machine to test which of the candidates received the best time. In the end, it was Lee Joon and Jinwoon who were able to take the spot of guest members.
This rowing event will mark the first of this year’s special projects for “Infinity Challenge”. The team will be aiming to take part in the competition in the coming summer season.

Lee Joon, Hyosung, & Kikwang in a love triangle?

This week’s episode of KBS’s “100 Points out of 100” drew out an interesting relationship betweenB2ST’s KikwangSECRET’s Hyosung, and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, who were speculated to be in a love triangle!
It all began when the cast started talking about getting hit on by fellow star friends. Lee Joon jokingly exclaimed, “A female idol came up to me and said that she had fun watching me on broadcast. She was none other than Jun Hyosung.”
The cast immediately turned to Hyosung and asked, “Are you really dating each other?”, to which Hyosung shook her hands no.
Kikwang, who had previously chosen Hyosung as his ideal woman, suddenly jumped up from his seat and shouted, “Jun Hyosung!” Hilariously, Hyosung replied back, “No, Kikwang! It’s not true!”
Cast members looked on at the amusing situation that developed before them and began asking, “Are they really in a love triangle?” Kikwang and Hyosung abruptly clarified, “No, we don’t even know each others’ numbers!”

MBLAQ takes over Japan’s ‘chaku uta’ chart + single jacket covers and tracklist revealed

The powerful, bad boy aura of idol group MBLAQ is quickly enveloping Japan, as G.OSeung HoLee JoonThunder, and Mir prepare to make their mark in one of the world’s largest music industries with their debut on May 4th.
The group is already well on their way to a promising debut. After releasing their title track, “Your Luv“, in ‘chaku uta’ form on April 19th, MBLAQ propelled themselves to the #1 spot in just a few hours. (The ‘chaku uta’, for those of you who aren’t familiar with it, are songs you can download through your cell phone; consequently, there’s a chart that records the number of downloads for each new release, much like the ‘Oricon‘ chart.)
Their coupling tracks, “Into the light” and “Daijoubu“, have also been released in ‘chaku uta’ form.
“Your Luv” will be released in 3 different versions: ‘A-type’, ‘B-type’, and ‘C-type’.
‘A-type’ will feature a DVD with the PV for “Your Luv”, a 12-page booklet, a slipcase, and a chance to win a ticket to an upcoming event for the single. ‘B-type’ will hold the same contents, except the DVD will feature a special off-shot called “MBLAQ in Japan”. Finally, the ‘C-type’ will not feature a DVD, but a jacket underneath that will feature one of six random photos.

<A-Type – CD+DVD>
+ “Your Luv” Music Video (DVD)

+ 12 page photobook

Lee Joon and Gikwang have a dance battle on 100 points out of 100!

On the April 16th broadcast of “100 points out of 100“, the main dancers of B2ST (Kikwang the dance copy machine) and MBLAQ (Lee Joon) staged a dance battle. On this episode, they introduced a dance battle that involved both memory and improvisation, as each had to not only repeat the actions of the dancer before, but also add a new made up part to the dance afterwards.
This battle was the final, hotly contested match of a new team battle corner that was just introduced on the show. The matchup between B2ST’s Kikwang, whose dance skills had earned him a solo spot asAJ along with the position of the main dancer in his group, and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, a graduate of the prestigious Seoul Arts High School, was such that both would have to be at the top of their game.
The dancers both showed off their impressive dance and acrobatics skills, which not only brought the cheers of their teammates, but also the studio staff.
