Seungri talks about G-Dragon’s income from royalties

On a recent broadcast of Mnet’s ‘Beatles Code,’ Big Bang’s maknae Seungri revealed G-Dragon’s income from royalties.

In this episode, Seungri–along with Daesung–made an appearance on the show and said, “G-Dragon hyung is currently considered #1 in the Copyright Association… He’s even higher than composer Cho Young Soo.”

According to Seungri, G-Dragon’s income from royalties is higher than the income professional composers get from copyrights. He stated, “G-Dragon has 120 registered tracks under his name. These tracks were not meant to be solely Big Bang’s, but also for his solo album, Taeyang, Seungri, 2NE1,and Uhm Jung Hwa. He’s composed and participated in countless songs.”

In response, MC Yoon Jong Shin commented, “Do you know how much G-Dragon gets paid through royalties?”

Seungri answered, “Because I’ve always had an interest in market researching, I do know his income through royalties,” shocking even Daesung.

Meanwhile, Seungri revealed that he had an interest in education, culture, and business. He even went on to say, “I am operating an academy. It is currently located in my hometown of Gwangju. There is one that opened in Daejeon this year and I’m preparing to open another one in Incheon.”

Big Bang’s G-Dragon spends a leisurely Saturday with Jo Sung Min

Big Bang’s G-Dragon spent a leisurely Saturday on April 23^rd with one of his best friends, Jo Sung Min.

Through his official Twitter, Jo Sung Min posted a photo with the caption, “Saturday with the king of bluffs. The afternoon is very leisurely.”

The two are pictured wearing comfortable yet stylish outfits and holding up glasses to commemorate a leisurely yet peaceful evening together.  Netizens commented, “Cool couple”, “Where can I go to see them”, and “Please post another leisurely weekend photo again”.

Jo Sung Min previously got his name known as a YG  Entertainment dancer,  and has experience making an appearance on a cable show program.

Big Bang wins Music Bank K-Chart with “Love Song”

For some reason, the winner of the weekly K-Chart was not announced during the live broadcast of Music Bank’s 600th episode last Friday, but results were still tabulated as normal and the winner was announced through their website on April 25th.

Big Bang was revealed to have won the K-Chart with “Love Song” from their repackaged album, a feat that’s duly impressive because they’ve yet to perform the song on the show. Their score of 10,757 managed to edge out CNBLUE, who came in second with 10,030 points.

‘Infinity Challenge’ producer tweets about Big Bang’s big success on the show

Producer Kim Tae Ho of MBC TV’s “Infinity Challenge” caused some buzz after he praised Big Bang for their appearance on his show.

On April 22nd, Kim Tae Ho tweeted, “‘Infinity Challenge’ and Big Bang’s big bang~! There is still much left to prepare. However, the staff and members of ‘Infinity Challenge’ truly thank you for working hard into the late night and for doing so well (the members are still in shock.. hehe)~! hehe”

In the uploaded picture, each Big Bang member personally signed the special edition album along with the comment, “Please listen to it well”. Big Bang gave the album as a gift to thank Kim Tae Ho after they shot “Infinity Challenge”.

Park Kyung Lim and Seungri show off comical expressions on “Starry Night”

On April 21st, Park Kyung Lim shared two hilarious photos of Big Bang’s recent appearance on herMBC radio program, “Starry Night“.

She tweeted, “Now that I think about it, it was so chaotic that we weren’t able to take a group photo ㅠ I only have pictures of spraying cologne on Seungri, who had just come from eating meat.”

In the picture, Seungri and Park Kyung Lim are spraying perfume at each other with comical expressions on their faces, which drew much laughter from netizens.

Seungri confesses to streaming his own music to raise rank

Big Bang’s Seungri revealed his secret behind raising music rank.

On April 20th, the Big Bang boys appeared on MBC FM ‘Park Kyung Lim’s Starry Night‘ for the first time in 3 years.

At Park Kyung Lim’s question, “Is there a member who clicks their name frequently to keep their ranking first on search engines?“, G-Dragon commented, “We all use our own computers so I don’t know.” Seungri revealed, “I’ve seen T.O.P. search his name before.”

Seungri continued, “There is [this thing called] music streaming. In order to raise our music rankings, I listen to our own songs. You have to listen to the whole song in order for it to count.”

G-Dragon stated, “While Seungri was doing his solo promotions, he listened to ‘What Can I Do’ about 100 times.”

When Park Kyung Lim asked if T.O.P has done the same thing while doing unit promotions with G-Dragon, he said, “We didn’t really know. We’ll learn from now on and do it.”

Seungri made the entire studio laugh by saying, “For me, I prepared well by researching the market because I thought I should target a niche market.”

Daesung was also criticized by the members for wearing a pair of sunglasses.

DJ Park Kyung Lim innocently commented, “With or without sunglasses, you are all handsome.” She also asked, “Before and after putting on sunglasses, who is the most different?” and T.O.P. answered, “Daesung looks funnier when he puts them on.”

Daesung himself explained, “My eyes get way bigger so I look funnier.”

At Park Kyung Lim’s request, he put on his sunglasses. After seeing him, the DJ said, “I saw for the first time a person who looks funny after just putting on a pair of sunglasses.” Other members laughed wildly after hearing this comment, saying “You look like Jo Yong Pil sunbaenim.”

Big Bang to guest on “Infinity Challenge” for the first time

For the first time since their debut, the members of Big Bang will be guesting on MBC’s variety program, “Infinity Challenge“!

A representative of the broadcast station revealed, “All of the members will be making an appearance on ‘Infinity Challenge’ soon. As far as I know, the episode will divide them into teams with the cast and have them engaged in a chase against each other.”

Although the boys have been involved in numerous variety shows since their debut, fans are particularly excited for this one. Viewers are already anticipating how the members will interact with the cast of the show.

Big Bang will be recording their episode on April 21st, with an air date scheduled for sometime next month.

G-Dragon reveals that he would’ve dated T.O.P. if he were a girl

VIPs are positively fan-girling over a recent confession made by Big Bang’s G-Dragon. The star recently guested on SBS FM’s ’Park So Hyun’s Love Game‘, and revealed that if fellow member T.O.P were a girl, he would’ve dated him without hesitation.

During the mini-talk portion of the radio program, DJ Park So Hyun asked, “Out of all Big Bang members, who is the ‘homme fatale’?“. All members pointed to T.O.P. for being the most fatally desirable.

G-Dragon elaborated, “I almost fell for T.O.P. While we’re traveling in the car, he plays jokes on me. But he’s really charming… If he were a girl, I would’ve dated him right then. He’s just that charming.”

Seungri added, “We parodied ‘Secret Garden‘ recently, and I had a kiss scene with T.O.P. His manners were really good during filming. I wondered what women would feel if I felt that as a guy.”

T.O.P. agreed on his deadly charms, saying, “Yes. I’m the most innocent out of the members… I think.”

T.O.P was also picked as the guy with the ‘most sense of justice’, while Seungri was picked as the member with the most celebrity numbers on his cell phone. G-Dragon explained, “Seungri has the most numbers, without a doubt. Even if the four of us added up our numbers, it wouldn’t even be 100, but Seungri really has a lot.”

The members shared the results of their ‘ramen battle’ as well, revealing that Daesung won over T.O.P. easily.

Daesung revealed his secret, “When the water is still cold, you should put in the soup base. T.O.P. lost even after using a special pot“. T.O.P. said, “I put too much red pepper paste and failed. I was trying to be special… and lost.”
